Our Story

QISO means story.

Every cup of coffee carries one, from the land it grows on, to the hands that harvest it, to the way it’s prepared and shared. QISO exists to honor those stories.

Our coffees begin with thoughtfully sourced, single-origin beans chosen for their character as much as their flavor. Floral, bright, and complex on their own, they are gently layered with warming spices rooted in East African and Somali traditions, never overpowering, always complementing.

In Somali culture, coffee is not rushed. It’s brewed slowly, seasoned with intention, and shared in moments of connection, conversations that linger, stories that unfold, time that softens. QISO was created to carry that ritual forward into modern kitchens, with care and respect.

We believe spices should enhance coffee like a quiet narrator, deepening the story already told by the beans. Cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and clove are used with balance and purpose, allowing each cup to feel both familiar and refined.
